Working on 3D Models
My mother died of breast cancer when I was three, so I have always felt the need to help kids or anyone that has a patient that is suffering from this not go through what I went through. This is why I have always been vocal in funding any research that is associated with the treatment of breast cancer or anyone seeking medical attention but can’t afford it. I work in the 3D modeling world, and I can’t complain at all as this job has allowed me to do so much for a lot of people, and I have never regretted getting into this profession.
There is a lot that is involved in the kind of work that I do, and you will see what goes on in my little office that has these computers that I use each day to build something that can help humanity. Although I am behind computers and not actually in the field, I have always felt that I should make stuff that helps a lot of people.
I guess this is why I created my first software that was called Weight Watchers. This software enabled a lot of individuals to keep track of their weight as I had the same problem too some time back and I almost had a heart attack. I developed the software so that people can lose some weight and maintain a level of fitness that won’t get them in any trouble, health wise.
All that aside, my work in the 3D world involves a lot of work mainly but it is entertaining, and I get to make a lo of stuff that is incredible. There are a lot of techniques that are used when am making these 3D models and the most common ones are meshes and vertices as well as transformations. Each of these methods is unique in its way as it helps me make the final product that is not only pleasing to your eye but mine as well.
I can make a lot of things using these 3D techniques, and this is why my job is just brilliant, to say the least. Getting to make whatever that I want when it comes to these models is what is fulfilling and gives me a sense of pride. Although it did take a lot of training for me to get to where I am, I must say that it has all been worth it.
There are also other techniques that are used, and these are known as bump maps, rendering as well as normal maps. All these I use to make amazing 3D models that you would stare at for a full day and still love them like the first time you saw them. That is the beauty of being an expert in this field and I don’t think that I would trade working here for anywhere else in the world. I remember once when I was a kid, watching cartoons and wondering when they might get to make almost exact ones and the fact that I grew up to become one that can make them if I want to is just an incredible feeling.
I can model anything that I want in the world, and that is what this is all about. Representing anything that needs representation in 3D and getting to make a living out of it is why this is so brilliant. The fact that I am also doing what I have always loved since I was a kid is what makes them the more amazing. I especially love working when it comes to the mapping section as this is where the creativity sets in and you want to out do what you did previously.
It is a challenging task, and I don’t think that anyone that is not entirely into this can make a great 3D model. When you sit down, and you are trying to come up with the design and all the intricate and minute pieces of the puzzle just don’t fit in right, t can be extremely irritating, and you might end up taking weeks or giving up altogether. However, you need some strength and a particular zeal as well as the ambition to make sure that what you come up with eventually is acceptable to who you are working for.
